TH11 Anti 3 Star Base Layouts 2026 -- Stop the Perfect Attack

Anti-3-star base layouts for Town Hall 11 in 2026. These designs force time failures and trap deaths to hold attackers below 3 stars, using the Eagle Artillery and Grand Warden to maximum effect.

A 3-star at Town Hall 11 usually happens one of three ways: a clean Queen Walk strips the outside and Hog Riders cycle through cleanly, Electro Dragons chain through insufficiently spaced defenses, or a well-timed Grand Warden ability keeps the attacking army alive through your Eagle Artillery. This guide covers how anti-3-star TH11 base design addresses each scenario.

The Three Most Common TH11 3-Star Routes

  • Queen Walk + Hogs: The Queen clears outside defenses while the Hog army cycles through without hitting Double Giant Bombs
  • Electro Dragon spam: Chain lightning clears tightly grouped defenses faster than your air defenses can respond
  • Mass Valkyrie: A non-compartmentalized base lets Valkyries spin through multiple sections without being funneled

Stopping the Queen Walk

The Queen Walk is the most reliably executed 3-star opener at TH11. To disrupt it:

  • Place Spring Traps on the low-HP buildings outside the wall that Queens typically target first
  • Cluster outside defenses to make them harder to sequentially strip -- isolated single defenses on the perimeter are easy Queen Walk targets
  • Position the Clan Castle where it can engage a walking Queen rather than the army that follows her

Stopping Electro Dragon Spam

ED spam targets building density -- chain lightning bounces between buildings within a short radius. Counter this by spacing defensive buildings at least 4 tiles apart outside the core. Inside the core, you want density (Eagle, Infernos, X-Bows close together) but outside the walls, spread everything out. This forces EDs to fly longer distances between targets and reduces chain damage significantly.

Stopping Mass Valkyrie

Valkyries spin inside wall compartments and deal massive area damage, but they can only damage one compartment at a time. A base with multiple small compartments rather than one or two large open sections limits Valkyrie efficiency dramatically. Each compartment should have at least one high-DPS defense that punishes the Valkyries during the spin. The Grand Warden Ability Counter

Attackers use the Grand Warden ability to tank their army through your Eagle Artillery fire. Your counter is to place the Eagle Artillery where it starts firing before the Warden ability is ready -- deep in the base, forcing the attacker to route their army through high-DPS defenses before reaching the Eagle's maximum range. By the time the army gets there, the Warden ability may already be on cooldown.
