Best TH15 Bases 2026 — Monolith, Root Rider Meta and Hero Equipment

Complete TH15 base guide 2026. Covers war, CWL, trophy, and farming layouts, plus how the Monolith and Root Rider meta shapes every design decision at this Town Hall.

Three things define TH15 more than any other Town Hall level: the Monolith — the highest single-target DPS defense in the game — the arrival of Root Rider as an attack option, and the Hero Equipment system that replaced the old ability structure for all four heroes. Understanding all three is the starting point for picking any TH15 base, regardless of whether you need it for war, CWL, trophy, or farming.

TH15 War and CWL Bases

War and CWL bases at TH15 both center on protecting the Monolith. In regular war, a base that keeps the Monolith active through the first 90 seconds consistently limits attackers to 2 stars. In CWL, the design standard is higher — the Monolith needs to stay active long enough to engage the main army, not just survive the RC Walk opener. Both base types need Root Rider trap coverage: Giant Bombs and Multi Bombs on the underground paths the Root Rider is most likely to take toward the Monolith or Town Hall.

Hero Equipment Changes the Attack Meta

The Hero Equipment system introduced at TH15 gave attackers customisable hero loadouts. The Royal Champion can now run different equipment sets optimised for different roles — some loadouts make the RC Walk faster and harder to stop, others turn the RC into an army support hero rather than a perimeter-stripper. TH15 war bases need to be resilient against multiple RC configurations rather than just one, which means air defenses can't all sit in one cluster that a single RC walk route can clear.

TH15 Trophy Bases

Trophy bases at TH15 bury the Town Hall in the core with the Monolith acting as the final line of defense. Most trophy attackers want to grab the Town Hall star and leave — a TH15 trophy base makes that expensive enough that casual attackers move on. The Monolith's sustained damage is especially punishing against the smaller armies trophy farmers often deploy, making it a strong deterrent even in casual trophy pushing contexts.

All TH15 base types are in the full TH15 collection. For war and league play specifically, TH15 war bases and TH15 CWL bases are curated separately with Root Rider trap coverage as a filter criterion.

TH15 Farming Bases

Farming bases expose the Town Hall near the edge so attackers take the cheap 1-star and leave storages untouched. At TH15, where the player base includes serious end-game farmers running high-level Dark Elixir raids, keeping your Dark Elixir storage buried deep in the core matters more than at most Town Hall levels. A TH15 farming base that loses the Town Hall but protects 800K Dark Elixir overnight is doing exactly what it's supposed to.
