TH10 is when players start choosing between dedicated farming, war, and trophy bases. But for most players, especially those who war and farm simultaneously, one well-designed base handles all three modes at 80 to 90% efficiency. The best overall TH10 base uses both Infernos on single mode to protect Dark Elixir and war heroes simultaneously, spreads three Air Defenses to counter LaLoon in both multiplayer and war, and buries the Town Hall three compartments deep.

Both Infernos on single mode adjacent to the Dark Elixir Storage serve war defense and farming defense simultaneously. In war, they burn attacking heroes before they strip the core. In farming and trophy defense, they lock onto Archer Queens or Giant-Healer combinations that target the DE Storage. Three Air Defense Spread for All Modes

Three Air Defenses in a wide triangle -- one per inner quadrant with none within double Lightning Spell range -- counter Mass Dragon in multiplayer trophy defense and LaLoon in war simultaneously. The Air Defense placement that stops ZapLaLoon war attacks also stops Dragon farming attacks in multiplayer. Unlike compartment design (which must be tuned for specific ground attacks), three-AD triangle spread is universally effective.
