TH11 introduces the Electro Dragon, a high-HP air troop that chain-zaps between targets. Penta-EDrag attacks deploy five Electro Dragons in a funnel that chain-damages defenses before any individual defense can destroy them. Anti-air design at TH11 uses four spread Air Defenses to break EDrag chains, the Grand Warden on air mode to protect critical defenses from chain damage, and Queen Walk LaLoon counters built into the base structure.
Four Air Defenses at TH11 should cover all four cardinal approach directions. The Electro Dragon chain zap requires multiple targets within a small radius to bounce between -- spread ADs mean the chain zap cannot efficiently hit multiple ADs in one firing cycle. Place one AD per quadrant, each at second-ring depth, so EDrag funnels from any direction face a single isolated AD before the chain reaches another. Isolated ADs take full chain damage but survive longer than clustered ADs.
The Grand Warden defending on air mode provides an aura that temporarily blocks damage to air troops within his radius. In your base defense, the Warden on air mode creates an aura bubble that EDrag and LaLoon attackers cannot simply ignore -- they must either destroy the Warden before pushing or funnel around his position. Place the Warden centrally so his air mode radius covers multiple Air Defenses simultaneously, giving him the widest possible coverage window before he engages incoming air troops.
Queen Walk LaLoon at TH11 uses the Archer Queen to strip one side of the base before LaLoon deploys from the cleared side. Counter this by placing Seeking Air Mines adjacent to the Air Defense on the side most commonly stripped by Queen Walk -- typically the side with fewer outer buildings creating natural funnel barriers. Seeking Air Mines trigger immediately on Lava Hound entry from that cleared side, buying time for the two surviving ADs to engage.
