This combination is more efficient than pure Dragon Rider (EDrag chain covers buildings Dragon Riders ignore) and more focused than pure EDrag (Dragon Riders destroy specific high-priority defenses faster). At TH13, the combination with Warden air mode and Lightning Spell support three-stars bases that resist pure air attacks.
Standard TH13 Dragon Rider EDrag (300 housing): 3 Dragon Riders (super boost, 30 housing), 3 Electro Dragons (75 housing), 3 Dragons (60 housing), 5 Balloons (10 -- cleanup), filler Minions (remaining ~125). Spells: 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake (destroy one AD), 2 Rage, 1 Freeze (Eagle Artillery), 1 Haste. Clan Castle: Dragon or Balloon. Warden on air mode. The mixed Dragon/EDrag/Dragon Rider force creates a diverse damage profile that exploits different defensive weaknesses simultaneously.
