The Blizzard Spell placement must avoid teleporting Super Witches directly into Monolith range -- if Super Witches land within the Monolith beam radius immediately after teleporting, the HP reduction fires before the Skeleton swarm has time to engage defenses. The correct Blizzard placement at TH15 is one compartment outside the Monolith, allowing Super Witches to begin Skeleton generation and engage nearby defenses before the Monolith beam fires.
Standard TH15 Super Witch Blizzard (320 housing): 9 to 10 Super Witches (72 to 80 housing), 2 Golems (60), Wall Breakers (6), filler. Spells: 1 Blizzard, 2 Rage, 2 Freeze, 1 Skeleton Spell, 1 Earthquake or Haste. Clan Castle: Super Witch. Pet assignments: L.A.S.S.I. on AQ, Electro Owl on RC (pre-Blizzard adjacent defense clearing), Frosty on Warden, Mighty Yak on King. With 320 housing, TH15 fits 9 to 10 Super Witches alongside Golems and Wall Breakers.
Step 1 -- Identify the Monolith: It is always in the inner ring adjacent to the Town Hall. Its beam range covers approximately 8 to 10 tiles from its center. Step 2 -- Choose Blizzard target zone: Place the Blizzard in the inner-ring zone directly adjacent to the Monolith but not overlapping its beam radius center. This teleports Super Witches into range to begin attacking the Monolith directly without landing inside the beam initial fire. Step 3 -- Four-hero pre-Blizzard distraction: All four heroes draw fire from the inner ring before Blizzard drops. RC with Electro Owl can target and damage the Monolith from outside with chain lightning before the Blizzard fires. Step 4 -- Blizzard drop: After heroes have drawn 15 to 20 seconds of defensive fire. Step 5 -- Rage immediately on landing zone. Step 6 -- Frosty Warden: Warden with Frosty follows the Golem push. Frosty slow aura reduces Monolith beam fire rate. Step 7 -- Freeze on Monolith when Super Witches approach within beam range. Freeze gives Skeletons time to begin attacking the Monolith without the HP reduction firing. Step 8 -- Skeleton Spell on Town Hall approach. Second Freeze on Eagle Artillery or Scattershot burst.
Freezing the Monolith after Super Witches approach within its range prevents the HP reduction beam from firing for 4 to 5 seconds. This gives the Super Witch Skeleton swarm enough time to deal significant damage to the Monolith before it resumes fire. A frozen Monolith also allows the Warden ability to be saved for Eagle Artillery rather than used to counter the Monolith burst.
