The Queen Walk is not a standalone attack -- it is a setup phase that strips one or two sides of an enemy base before your main army deploys from a cleaned-up entry point. A successful Queen Walk removes Air Defenses, X-Bows, and Mortars from the entry side, giving Hog Riders, Balloons, or Witches a clean deployment corridor into the core. Master the Queen Walk at TH9 and every attack you transition into becomes 30 to 40% more effective.
Queen Walk phase (separate from main army): Archer Queen + 4 Healers. This is the core setup. Four Healers heal the Queen faster than single-target defenses can damage her, allowing the Queen to tank through Mortars, Archer Towers, and Cannons indefinitely. The Queen Walk strips the entire outer ring and first defense layer of the side you deploy on. Main army following the Queen Walk: Hog Riders (GoHo transition), Balloons (LaLoon transition), or Witches (GoWitch transition). Spells: 1 to 2 Rage Spells for the Queen Walk phase, 3 Heal Spells for the main army phase. Clan Castle: Witch (for main army support) or Dragon (for air cleanup).
Step 1 -- Choose Queen Walk side: Select the base side with the Air Defense, Mortar, and X-Bow closest to the outside edge. The Queen walks along the outside, stripping every building she encounters. Step 2 -- Healer placement: Drop all four Healers tightly behind the Queen (within 5 tiles). They must stay within healing range throughout the walk. If Healers spread too wide, they lose healing overlap and the Queen takes net damage. Step 3 -- Rage Spell on Queen: Drop Rage on the Queen when she engages a cluster of three or more defenses simultaneously -- this maximizes Rage DPS uptime. Step 4 -- Walk progression: Let the Queen clear the full edge of the base before transitioning. She should strip at minimum the outer ring and one Air Defense before you pivot to the main army. Step 5 -- Main army transition: Deploy your main army from the corner the Queen started from, funneling into the cleared entry lane. The main army has an open corridor into the base interior.
The most common Queen Walk mistake is deploying the main army too early -- before the Queen has cleared the entry side. A Hog Rider or Balloon army deployed before the Queen clears the first AD and outer defenses encounters a fully intact defensive layer and fails. Wait until the Queen has cleared at least one AD and two or three outer defenses before deploying the main army behind her.

How many Healers do I need for a TH9 Queen Walk?
Four Healers minimum. Four Healers heal the Queen faster than TH9 outer defenses can damage her, allowing indefinite tanking through Mortars, Archer Towers, and Cannons.
Which side of the base should I Queen Walk on?
The side with an Air Defense closest to the outside edge. Stripping the AD from the Queen Walk side gives your main air army (Balloons, Lava Hounds) a free approach lane from the cleared entry.
When should I activate the Archer Queen Ability during Queen Walk?
When the Queen drops to 40 to 50% HP. Using it too early wastes the HP recovery and spawn effect. Using it too late means the Queen dies before the ability activates.
What main army should I transition into after a TH9 Queen Walk?
