Penta-EDrag deploys five Electro Dragons across one or two sides of a TH11 base with Lightning Spell support to pre-destroy Air Defenses. Electro Dragons chain-zap between buildings, dealing chain damage to every structure their zap bounces between. Against TH11 bases with ADs clustered on one side, five EDrags with Lightning Spell support and Grand Warden air mode three-stars in under two minutes with minimal skill requirements once the Lightning pre-attack is correct.
Standard TH11 Penta-EDrag (260 housing): 5 Electro Dragons (125), 5 to 8 Balloons (10 to 16), filler Minions (remaining ~119 to 125). Spells: 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake (destroy one AD), 1 Rage (EDrag wave), 1 Freeze (Eagle Artillery or Inferno). Clan Castle: Electro Dragon or Balloon. Grand Warden on air mode follows the EDrag wave. EDrags naturally chain-zap between buildings -- the wider the spread, the more buildings the chain hits per attack cycle. Deploy in a line across one base edge to maximize chain coverage width.
Step 1 -- Lightning Spell pre-attack: Destroy one AD with 3 Lightning + 1 Earthquake. Target the AD most isolated from the remaining three. Step 2 -- Approach direction: Deploy EDrags from the side opposite the two most dangerous remaining ADs. EDrags fly toward the base interior -- approaching from the opposite side ensures they pass through the base rather than along the edge. Step 3 -- EDrag line deployment: Drop all 5 EDrags in a line across the chosen base edge, spaced 5 to 7 tiles apart. Close spacing creates overlapping chain zap coverage. Step 4 -- Warden follow: Warden follows automatically on air mode behind the EDrag line. Step 5 -- Rage Spell: Drop Rage when EDrags engage the inner ring defenses -- EDrag DPS with Rage is enough to destroy Infernos before they ramp to lethal damage. Step 6 -- Freeze: On Eagle Artillery burst or the surviving Inferno if it begins shredding the EDrag line. Step 7 -- Balloon cleanup: Deploy Balloons behind EDrags to handle any defenses EDrags miss on the edges.
EDrag chain zap bounces between targets within roughly 7 tiles. Defenses clustered together take chain damage from every bounce; isolated single buildings only take direct damage. This means EDrags are most effective against bases with clustered defenses and least effective against wide-spread layouts where chain bounces hit empty space.

How many Electro Dragons do you need for TH11 Penta-EDrag?
Five. Five EDrags provide enough combined chain zap and direct damage to destroy all defenses at TH11. Fewer than five leaves gaps in chain coverage that allow Infernos and Eagle Artillery to survive too long.
How do EDrags chain zap work?
Electro Dragon attacks bounce between targets within roughly 7 tiles, dealing full damage to each bounce target. Clustered defenses take chain damage on multiple bounces per attack cycle.
Should the Grand Warden be on air or ground mode for Penta-EDrag?
Air mode. Warden flies with the EDrag line, and his ability makes the entire EDrag cluster temporarily invincible when Eagle Artillery fires on them.
Can Penta-EDrag three-star TH11 bases with spread Air Defenses?
It is harder. Spread ADs mean EDrags have to cross the full base width to destroy all four, taking more sustained AD fire. Lightning Spell pre-attack on the most spread AD and heavy Balloon backup help compensate.
